Grandmaster Young is the Senior Instructor for Youngsan Karate LLC, entities.

He has trained in various disciplines, ie Goju Ryu, Sholin Goju, Tae Kwon Do, Jujitsu, Kempo, Hapkido, Aiki Jujitsu. Grandmaster Young is a Hall of Famer in the; US Head of Family Martial Arts Association Intl-International Hall of Honor-Hall of Champions; 2018, TWOMAA-Columbus Ohio World of Martial Arts Hall of Fame; 2016, Who’s Who Legends Award; 2015, United States Martial Arts Alliance; 2012. Also, he has won various 1st Place awards in empty hand kata (forms), and weapons kata with a Grand Championship in weapons.

Sensei Young is known on the tournament circuit as “Quietstorm”.

Another, accomplishment of his is his certification as Renshi (2013).

In 2018, he was published in the book titled The World’s Greatest Martial Artists, The Sensational 600, Martial Arts Masters Hall of Fame by Dr. Ted Gambordella. He's also, an affiliate instructor at American Karate and Martial Science-Hutchinson, KS.

The Martial Arts is truly a way of life is his belief with his mantra being, “You Will Never Possess What You Are Unwilling To Pursue”.
